This years volunteer event for Northern New Jersey will be to inspect, sort and pack donated food items for distribution at the FoodBank of New Jersey. The FoodBank of New Jersey is the state's largest provider of donated groceries to charities - shipping up to 24 million pounds of food annually to 1,500 food panteries, soup kitchens, homeless shelters, and other programs in 18 counties in New Jersey.

9:00 am - Orientation and Breakfast (donuts & coffee)
9:30 am to 12:00 noon - Volunteer Activity
12:30 pm - Lunch (location TBD)

(Note: Wear comfortable clothing and footwear (closed-toe shoes). Children 12 and older are welcome to join their parents.)
