Light Breakfast 9 am
Volunteer 9:30 – 11:30 am

SIS Leaders: Peter Hahn '95 - phahn@bdlaw.com; Stephanie Brehm Hoover '91 - sbhoover1@netzero.com

Wooster alumni, friends and family will clean up the Linden Recreation Center Park in inner-city Columbus. We will pick up trash, weed flower beds, spread mulch, plant flowers and bulbs, and trim trees and shrubs. We may also do some painting and organizing of the Recreation Center. Please bring yard work equipment: shovels, gloves, hand trowels, wheelbarrows, clippers, etc. If anyone would like to donate food, bulbs, mulch or plants to our project, please give Stephanie or Peter a call. We will group for lunch after our work is done! Children are welcome to work alongside their parents.

Location/Directions:
Linden Recreation Center at 1254 Briarwood Ave., Columbus, 43211. From I-71, exit at Hudson Avenue and go East (away from Lowes/campus). Turn left on McGuffey Road (there is a traffic light at this intersection--if you get to Cleveland Ave, you have gone too far). Go three blocks and turn right on Briarwood Avenue. When you get to the "one way, do not enter" sign, turn left on Hamilton Ave (you will now be driving beside the park). Take the first right, going in front of the Recreation Center, parking is on the other side. Depending on weather, we will either meet you at the shelter behind the Recreation Center or inside of the building. Look for the College of Wooster banner!
