Beautification of Historic Garfield Park

The Chicago SIS team will be working with the Chicago Park District and
Friends of the Park to Beautify Garfield Park (in West Chicago). Our efforts
will include picking up litter, mulching, and replenishing playground
fibar (soft wood chips). Please meet at 8:45 a.m. in the parking lot next
to the Conservatory. We will begin working promptly at 9 a.m. Please wear
gardening/work clothing, including long pants and closed-toe shoes. Children
are welcome to work alongside their parents. After the work event we will
have lunch at Luigi?s - please bring $5 for the pizza lunch.
