Butterfly Hope

Join Wooster alumni as we return to support Butterfly Hope’s natural science, gardening, and creative arts program for Denver’s inner city kids. We will be winterizing the gardens, painting, building planters, and grooming the grounds. Wooster kids are welcome to work alongside their parents.

Event Details

Can you believe it is time for Scots in Service again! Hopefully you all had a wonderful summer. I look forward to seeing you this Saturday, September 18th from 9-noon for the 4th annual national service event for the College of Wooster. There will be coffee, juice and muffins or donuts before we get started.

We will be working once again helping Butterfly Hope to winterize their garden areas, mulch, weed, fix walls and more. All ages are welcome to come we can find a job for everyone. Bring some work gloves and wear some clothes that can get dirty!

Butterfly Hope is located behind Chetlehem Elementary School at 1580 Julian Street, Denver, CO 80204 It is just off of I25 and Colfax.
