Friends of the Park: Jackson Park

Jackson Park is one of Chicago’s oldest and most beautiful park settings. Created by the same designers as NYC’s Central Park, Jackson Park has a vast natural area, is a bird watching haven and is home to a variety of recreation activities for Chicagoans. Wooster alumni, friends and family will spend the day caring for the park’s natural areas. Activities will primarily include weeding, mulching, and other outdoor work. Prepare to spend a day of fun and work with fellow Scots. We will be going for Chicago style pizza after the event. Children are welcome to participate in the day with parental supervision.
